Raghavendran Partha has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and data science. Raghavendran is currently working at GRAIL, Inc. as a Senior Bioinformatics Data Scientist since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Ancestry as a Data Scientist / Computational Biologist from September 2019 to March 2021. Raghavendran Partha also gained research experience at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as a Graduate Research Assistant from January 2015 to August 2019. Additionally, they interned at Biogen in 2018 as a Translational Integrative Analytics intern. Before that, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from August 2013 to May 2014. Raghavendran Partha also served as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in June 2013 and at the University of Delhi from May 2012 to July 2012.

Raghavendran Partha completed their education in a chronological manner. Raghavendran first attended DAV Boys Senior Secondary School from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science in high school. Raghavendran then enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2009 to 2014, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Biotechnology. Moving on, from 2014 to 2019, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Biology at both the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.

In addition to their formal education, Raghavendran Partha obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the "Statistical Inference" and "R Programming" courses through Coursera. The following year, in 2016, they successfully finished the "Practical Machine Learning" and "Data Science Capstone" courses. Raghavendran also obtained the "Data Science Specialization" certification in February 2016 from Coursera Course Certificates.
