Sir Harpal Kumar

Sir Harpal Kumar is a prominent leader in the healthcare sector, currently serving as President of GRAIL, Inc. since June 2020, where the focus is on early cancer detection with the goal of improving and saving lives. Prior to this role, Sir Harpal was the Head of Johnson & Johnson Innovation for the EMEA region from September 2018 to June 2020 and served as Chief Executive of Cancer Research UK from April 2007 to June 2018. Sir Harpal holds a BA and MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where studies took place from 1983 to 1987.
