Jian Liu, MPH

Jian Liu, MPH has a diverse work experience history. From December 2020 to February 2023, Jian worked at Northwestern Medicine as an Immediate Care Technician, where they played a crucial role in improving the clinic's Likelihood to Recommend (LTR) rating through efficient patient flow and collaborating with physicians. They also ensured data quality assurance through audits on tests and vaccines.

In 2022, Jian held two positions concurrently. They worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Master of Public Health program from September to December. Additionally, from June to December, they worked as a Data Analyst at the Institute for Population and Precision Health at the University of Chicago.

Prior to these roles, Jian worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at ATI Ambulance from January to December 2020. They also gained experience as a Business Operations Manager at First Chop Suey Restaurant from June 2015 to December 2019.

In January 2019, Jian briefly worked as a Marketing Analyst at Doorkel Co., Ltd. They also served as a Chapter Treasurer at Theta Xi National Fraternity from January to December 2018.

Jian Liu, MPH, completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology at the University of Chicago from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.

Jian Liu completed their high school education at Jones College Prep from 2012 to 2015, and before that, they attended Lane Technical College Prep High School from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Jian Liu has also obtained several certifications. Jian earned a Masters of Public Health certification from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in December 2022. Jian Liu also holds certifications in CPR & AED from the American Heart Association, obtained in June 2020, and EMT-B from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), obtained in August 2019.
