Alicia Klepfer

Alicia Klepfer is a carbon project development expert currently working at GRAIN Ecosystem since December 2022. Previously, Alicia held the position of Carbon Accreditation Lead at Blue Ocean Barns and managed carbon offset project design at Radicle, where responsibilities included technical analysis and team leadership. Early career experience includes roles as a sustainability specialist at Viresco Solutions Inc. and agricultural GHG research assistant at Colorado State University, focusing on climate modeling and soil carbon. Additional roles include a soil respiration research assistant at Woods Hole Research Center and director of the UChicago Climate Action Network. Alicia earned a Master's degree in Greenhouse Gas Management and Accounting from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Chicago.
