M.D. Tariqul Islam

Md. Tariqul Islam has a diverse work experience in human resources, mainly at Grameenphone Ltd. Their most recent role was as the Head of Strategic HR Partner-IT and Tech, starting in January 2024. Before that, they served as the Head of Shared Services from December 2022 to December 2023 and as the Head of Employee Experiences & Culture from October 2020 to November 2022. Md. Tariqul also worked as a Sr. HR Business Partner in the Commercial Division from July 2018 to September 2020, as a Circle HR Head in the Business Circle Dhaka from April 2016 to July 2018, and as an HR Business Partner in the People and Organization department from May 2012 to March 2016. Prior to joining Grameenphone Ltd, they worked at UY Systems Ltd as a Public Relations Officer from October 2004 to April 2006.

Md. Tariqul Islam attended Rajshahi University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an MBA in Marketing. In March 2017, they also completed the Telenor Strategy Execution Program at INSEAD Executive Education.
