Petar Atanasov has a diverse work experience, with positions in both finance and economics. In 2006 and 2007, they worked as a Summer Associate and Associate at EY, respectively. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Macroeconomic Analyst at Roubini Global Economics, focusing on Emerging Markets in CEEMEA. Petar also had a summer internship as a Graduate Summer Analyst at Impact Investment Exchange in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, Atanasov worked at Moody's Investors Service as an Associate Analyst in the Sovereign Risk Group, where they analyzed and rated a portfolio of Latin American, Caribbean, and CEEMEA countries. Currently, they hold a senior position as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Sovereign Research & Strategy at Gramercy Funds Management LLC, starting in 2015.
Petar Atanasov's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at Franklin & Marshall College. Petar pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, Business, Organizations, and Society, as well as French. Petar successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2007.
Later, in 2010, Petar Atanasov embarked on their postgraduate education. Petar enrolled simultaneously in two prestigious institutions, first at Columbia | SIPA, where they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in International Finance and Economics. At the same time, they also attended the National University of Singapore, where they pursued a Master of Public Policy (MPP) in the field of Public Policy. Both of these programs were completed by 2012, further enhancing Petar Atanasov's academic qualifications.
