Ben Barclay

Ben Barclay is an accomplished finance and corporate development professional with extensive experience in strategy, business transformation, and investor relations. Currently serving in finance, corporate development, and investor relations at Grammarly since 2025, Ben has also been a member of the Board of Directors for JVS - Bay Area since 2024, advising on strategy and business development since 2020. Previously, as SVP of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Alliances at Zendesk from 2015 to 2024, Ben led a team of over 50 people and was instrumental in driving strategic planning and business transformation initiatives. Early career experiences include a Summer Associate role at Kleiner Perkins in 2014, focusing on SaaS and marketplaces, and working as a Management Consultant at Monitor Deloitte from 2009 to 2013, engaged in numerous strategy projects for technology, media, and telecom clients. Ben holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations from Carleton College.
