Kirill Babich

Kirill Babich has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Kirill started their career in 2010 as an Audit Senior at KPMG Ukraine, where they specialized in biopharma, financial services, and consumer markets. Kirill performed audit work, analyzed company performance, audited financial statements, and prepared financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards.

In 2014, Babich joined KPMG US as a Senior Associate and later worked as a Manager and Senior Manager. Kirill led teams, conducted audits for financial institutions and private SaaS companies, performed financial analysis, and developed management policies. Kirill also had extensive experience in revenue recognition, inventory management, stock-based compensation, cash management, and payroll accounting.

Since 2019, Babich has been working at Grammarly as the Corporate Controller. In this role, they expanded the finance team, implemented various finance functions, including GL operations, financial reporting, payroll, tax, and procurement. Kirill also achieved improvements in month-end close timing and oversaw the preparation of financial statements and reporting. Kirill also had responsibilities in international tax and accounting structure.

Kirill Babich completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance from Kyiv National Economics University from 2006 to 2010. Kirill pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Finance from the same university between 2010 and 2011. Currently, they are enrolled at The Wharton School, where they are expected to graduate with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree by 2024.
