Yunfeng Zhang

Yunfeng Zhang is a Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer at EvolutionIQ since February 2023, previously serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Twitter from June 2021 to November 2022, where Yunfeng architected and developed Fairness Evaluator, a distributed model performance and fairness evaluation system. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Staff Member at IBM from June 2015 to June 2021, contributing to the development of the AI Fairness 360 and AI Explainability 360 toolkits, and a postdoctoral researcher position at IBM focusing on AI-driven multimodal interaction techniques. Earlier, Yunfeng held research internships at IBM and PARC. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Information Science and Technology from Beijing Normal University.
