Grammy Camp Songwriting Faculty at GRAMMY Museum

Anne Heaton is an accomplished educator and researcher focused on the intersection of arts-based practices and social emotional learning. Currently a Curriculum & Instruction Research MS Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Anne's master’s thesis explores these themes under Dr. Erica Halverson's guidance. As the Founder and Lead Teacher of Soul Songs School, Anne has taught empathy and compassion-based classes and directed summer camps for children. Additional roles include summer faculty at Berklee College of Music and GRAMMY Camp, where Anne promotes creative practices among diverse student groups. With a background spanning over two decades in teaching and arts education, Anne is also pursuing a Certificate in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University.
