Guto Marrara Marzagao

Guto Marrara Marzagao has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and leadership. Guto started their professional career in 2010 as a Software Development Engineer at the Game Development Project (GDP), where they gained experience in game programming, computer graphics frameworks, and physics simulation.

From 2011 to 2012, Guto worked as a Software Development Intern at Visagio Tecnologia, a business consulting company, where they built analysis systems to support data analysis and decision-making.

In 2012, Guto joined the Laboratório de Pesquisa em Tecnologias de Entretenimento e Simulação (LABPESTES) as a Software Development Engineer. There, they worked on a project related to creating AI robots for the RoboCup Soccer leagues. Their responsibilities included developing a multi-player soccer simulation platform as the user interface.

Guto became an Entrepreneur and Software Developer at Metamorfose Virtual in 2013 and worked on various web and mobile application development projects. Guto was involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from finding customers and gathering requirements to planning, development, publication, and maintenance.

In 2015, Guto joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, focusing on software development for Microsoft's ERP, Dynamics AX 7. Guto worked on localization projects for Brazil and Mexico, ensuring compliance with country-specific rules and requirements. Guto also collaborated with global teams.

In 2017, Guto co-founded Appoie, a platform designed to help people find politicians aligned with their thinking. There, they worked as a full-stack developer and contributed to the development of the platform.

Guto continued their CTO roles at Sling Hub from 2018 to 2021 and at Access Loans from 2021 to the present. In these positions, they were responsible for collecting and defining product requirements, designing system architectures, implementing features, managing development projects, and ensuring timely delivery.

Currently, Guto is also serving as the CTO at Grana Capital starting from November 2021.

Guto Marrara Marzagao has a strong educational background in computer science and electronics. From 2009 to 2015, Guto attended the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. During this time, their studies focused on game development, computer graphics, agile methodologies, Lean Startup, and web development.

Prior to their time at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Guto studied at the Instituto de Tecnologia ORT from 2004 to 2006. Here, they obtained a degree as an Electronics Technician, specializing in digital systems and robotics.

In addition to their formal education, Guto Marzagao has also obtained certification in Artificial Intelligence from the AI-Class team, led by Sebastian Thrun and Peter Norvig. This certification was acquired in December 2011, further showcasing Guto's dedication and expertise in the field.
