Elzé Flattery

Elzé Flattery (van Zyl) is an experienced actuarial and analytics professional currently serving as an Actuarial and Analytics Analyst at Granada Indemnity Company since February 2024. Prior to this role, Flattery held the same position at Koffie Financial, focusing on commercial lines pricing in the trucking sector, and at Encova Insurance, where responsibilities included personal lines pricing and the development of rating factors. Flattery's educational background includes a Master’s in Actuarial Science from Illinois State University and a BSc with honors in Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria, complemented by a bachelor's in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. Additional experience includes a graduate assistantship at Illinois State University and participation in professional workshops at Deloitte South Africa and FirstRand Group.
