David Skentelbery

David Skentelbery has over 35 years of experience in various leadership positions in the maritime industry. David currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited, overseeing ship repair project management, estimating, technical planning, procurement, and materials logistics. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Commercial Officer at the same company.

Before joining Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited, Skentelbery held the position of Managing Director at Totus Mare Ltd. David also worked as a Consultant and Managing Director at Lavgan Dockyard Private Ltd. During their tenure at A&P Group, they served as the Group MD.

Skentelbery has also held leadership positions at Cammell Laird North East) Ltd., GMSL, SBSS (Cable & Wireless (Marine) Ltd., and Cable & Wireless (Marine) Ltd., where they gained experience in operations, general management, and project management.

Early in their career, Skentelbery worked at Lowline Ltd as the Master of Offshore Support vessels.

Throughout their career, Skentelbery has consistently demonstrated their expertise in the maritime industry, particularly in ship repair project management, operations, and general management.

David Skentelbery attended Liskeard Grammar School. David also attended Riversdale for an unknown period of time.
