Dr. Stephanie Woods Dnp

Dr. Stephanie Woods DNP, MSN, RN is an experienced nursing professional with a focus on clinical education and management. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Grand Canyon University since May 2020, Dr. Woods has also held the position of Director of Nursing at Lovelace Health System from July 2021 to October 2025, overseeing a post-surgical floor. Prior experience includes various roles at Presbyterian Healthcare Services from September 2011 to July 2021, including Senior Manager for Clinical Education and Professional Development. Additional experience as an RN charge nurse at Presbyterian Hospital and as an RN at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital rounds out Dr. Woods' extensive background in nursing. Dr. Woods holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, all from Grand Canyon University, in addition to an Associate Degree in Nursing from Wharton County Junior College and a high school diploma from Brazos High School.
