Marquis Scott

Marquis Scott currently serves as the Director of Career Services for Student Development and the Director of Strategic Employer Initiatives & Internships at Grand Canyon University, a Division I Christian university dedicated to fostering leadership and service among students. Previously, Marquis held the position of President/Executive Director at the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, advocating for local businesses, and worked as a Partnership Specialist with the US Census Bureau. Marquis also operated Scott Free Fundraising, supporting various nonprofit initiatives, and directed marketing, sales, and operations for the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, promoting minority-owned businesses. Marquis's earlier career includes a role as Senior Corporate Sales Consultant at EMG Networks. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Leadership from Jones International University and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration from Southeast Missouri State University.
