Scott Kerr

Mathematics Instructor

Scott Kerr is an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics instruction and school administration. Currently serving as a Mathematics Instructor at Grand Canyon University since August 2020 and as an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at Maricopa Community Colleges since August 2014, Scott develops lesson plans and implements strategies to enhance student success and retention. Previously, Scott held the role of School Principal at Rancho Gabriela K-8 Elementary, overseeing staff and student safety, implementing improvement plans, and engaging with the community. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Principal at Valley Vista High School, an AP Calculus Grader for The College Board, and a mathematics teacher in various K-12 settings. Scott holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Mathematics from Grand Canyon University and a Master's in Education, specializing in Media and Computers from Arizona State University.
