Sheryl Smith-Bergeson

Sheryl Smith-Bergeson has a diverse work experience with a range of roles in various companies. Sheryl is currently the Director of Field Operations for the military at Grand Canyon University since March 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at the same university as a Senior University Development Manager from January 2021 and as a University Development Manager from December 2017 to January 2021. Sheryl started their career in education as a University Development Counselor at Grand Canyon University from January 2013 to December 2017.

Before joining Grand Canyon University, Sheryl worked as an Admissions Representative at Broadview University from March 2010 to January 2013. Sheryl also has experience as a Scientific Recruiter at Aerotek from September 2008 to March 2010, and as a Market Trainer, Recruiter, and Regional Sales Director at The Mobile Solution from August 2007 to August 2008. Additionally, they had an Inside Sales role at AEP SPAN from November 2006 to September 2007, and as a Territory Manager at Ecolab/Kay Chemicals from June 2005 to November 2006.

Sheryl Smith-Bergeson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts/ Film Set Design from Brigham Young University between 2000 and 2004. In 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services at Broadview College. Continuing their education, they earned a Master of Science degree in Health Care Informatics from Grand Canyon University from 2017 to 2019.
