Alanna Burt

Alanna Burt is an experienced educator and philanthropy professional, currently serving as a NYS Certified Math and Business Teacher at Grand Island Central School District since September 2020. In this role, Alanna develops and implements lessons aligned with NYS Math Standards and the National Academy of Finance Business curriculum, covering various subjects including Algebra and Financial Planning. Prior experience includes leading annual giving initiatives at Niagara University, where a significant donor engagement program was revitalized, and holding senior advancement roles at OCAD University, McMaster University, and Cornell University, contributing to substantial increases in fundraising outcomes. Alanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Marketing from Cornell University, an MBA in Management from Quinnipiac University, and a Master of Education in 5-12 Mathematics from Niagara University.
