Gregory Bortz

Gregory Bortz is an accomplished leader in the investment and finance sectors, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Grand Parade Investments Limited since May 2023. Bortz has held the position of Chairman at Cape Racing and GMB Investments (Pty) Ltd since August 2022 and July 2012, respectively. As an Advisor at Quiet Canyon Capital LLC since July 2009, Bortz brings extensive experience in private equity, previously holding the title of Managing Partner at CREO Capital Partners from January 2005 to December 2017. Bortz's foundational experience includes roles as Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, focusing on the Business & Professional Services sector, and Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston, where the focus was on various sectors in the western United States. Early in a career that began with auditing roles at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, Bortz holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
