Vanessa Greene

Vanessa Greene serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Grand Rapids African American Health Institute since November 2020, focusing on ensuring equitable access to healthcare for all residents in Western Michigan. Previously, Vanessa held the role of Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Hope College from November 2003 to November 2020, where responsibilities included strategic vision, planning, and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, along with conducting climate assessments and developing inclusive programs to enhance community and belonging among students, faculty, and staff. Vanessa Greene holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Grand Valley State University.
