Allison Garstecki

Science Education Intern at Grand Rapids Public Museum

Allison Garstecki has a diverse background in healthcare and education, currently serving as a Resident Assistant at Marywood Health Center since August 2017, where assistance is provided to older adults with daily living activities and personal care. In addition, Allison has been a Volunteer Coach for the Grand Rapids Disabled Sports Team since January 2016, supporting athletes with disabilities in various sports. Engagement as an Assistant Junior Varsity Soccer Coach at East Grand Rapids High School began in March 2017, driven by a passion for the sport and a desire to learn about leadership and injury prevention. As a Direct Care Worker at Full Circle Care, involvement in the development of young adults with special needs emphasizes a commitment to nurturing social and emotional growth. Other notable roles include a Science Education Intern at the Grand Rapids Public Museum and a Camp Aide Coordinator at Blandford Nature Center, showcasing a strong foundation in education and mentorship.
