Jesse Antuma

Jesse Antuma has extensive experience in education and environmental science, currently serving as an Administrator and High School Science Teacher at Grand Rapids Public Schools since August 2018, focusing on Grade 9 Biology. Prior roles include Science Teacher at Denver South High School, where Jesse taught Chemistry and Earth Science for grades 9-12, and Student Teacher at Berkley Schools, developing Environmental Science curriculum. Jesse has also contributed to academic research at the University of Michigan, holding positions as a Researcher and Graduate Student Instructor, while overseeing outdoor educational trips as Trip Program Supervisor at University of Michigan - Outdoor Adventures. With a Master's in Education and a Master's in Conservation Ecology from the University of Michigan, along with a BA in Biology from Calvin University, Jesse Antuma combines expertise in pedagogy and ecological research.
