Derek Stafford

Derek Stafford began their work experience in 1997 as a Training Content Developer at ViaGrafix, where they worked until 2002. Derek then moved to Upperspace as a Training Content Developer until 2004. In 2004, they joined Grand River Dam Authority as part of their Generation and Marketing team, where they worked until 2012 when they transitioned to a Transmission System Operator role. In 2015, they took on the position of System Operations Trainer/Compliance Coordinator at the same company.

Derek Stafford obtained their Associate's degree in Computer Science from Rogers State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1994. Following this, they pursued further education at Oklahoma State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 1994 to 1997.
