Doug Murray (he/him) was appointed Grand River Hospital’s vice president of corporate services and chief financial officer in October 2018.
Doug provides operational and strategic financial direction to the hospital. He also supports GRH’s relationships with other hospitals and the Waterloo Wellington LHIN on mutual projects and health system improvement goals. Doug is responsible for GRH’s financial services as well as policy formulation, planning and decision making. He leads the daily operations of GRH’s corporate services such as purchasing, food and environmental services, business development, security services, capital and facility maintenance.
Doug is a Chartered Professional Accountant: Certified Management Accountant. Doug has earned a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) from Queen’s University. He also holds a Project Management Professional designation.
