Alison Christensen

Alison Christensen has been a valuable member of Grand Valley State University since October 2009, currently serving as Project Manager and Curator of Public Spaces. In 2015, Alison took on the role of Art Gallery Project Manager, overseeing unique projects, including a Mathias Alten hardcover book and managing art installations for GVSU construction and renovation projects. Prior to this, Alison was the lead preparator for the GVSU Art Gallery, responsible for the rotating and permanent exhibits of the university's extensive art collection. Previously, Alison worked as an Interior Designer Assistant at Jeffery Roberts Homes Inc., where responsibilities included assisting in all aspects of interior design and managing subcontractors. Alison holds a Master’s degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the same institution.
