Kate Harmon

AVP for Student Affairs, Well-being & Inclusion at Grand Valley State University

Kate Harmon has extensive experience in student affairs and wellness, serving in various leadership roles at Grand Valley State University since October 2002, including Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs - Well-being & Inclusion, Director of Recreation and Student Wellness, and Acting Associate Dean of Students. Prior to this, Kate served as Assistant Manager at the Health and Wellness Center of Pennock Hospital from August 2000 to October 2002. Academically, Kate holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Michigan-Flint, an Education Specialist degree in Education Leadership from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Arts in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from Northern Michigan University.
