Philomena V. Mantella

Philomena V. Mantella is the current president at Grand Valley State University. Philomena has previously served as the Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Life at Pace University and the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University. At both universities, they were responsible for increasing applications and yield and improving student services. Philomena is a member of the President's Executive Council and has 100 full-time staff members working under her.

Philomena V. Mantella has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in College and University Administration from Michigan State University, a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Individual and Family Therapy / Gerontology from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Social Work from Syracuse University.
