Andres Velez has a diverse work experience in the finance and real estate industry. Andres began their career as an Assistant Relationship Manager and Credit Analyst at BBVA Compass and later moved on to a similar role at US Bank. In 2007, they joined GE Capital as a Senior Associate, where they underwrote multi-billion dollar investment projects and managed investments in Latin America. Andres then worked at Situs as an Associate, performing loan reviews and due diligence for bank recapitalizations. Andres also worked at Oak Grove Capital as an Underwriting Analyst and at World Class Capital Group as an Acquisition Associate, where they conducted underwriting, due diligence, and asset management tasks. Andres later became self-employed as a Contract Underwriter before joining Cohen Financial as a Vice President, specializing in Asset Advisory Services. Andres then worked as a Credit Risk Manager at SunTrust before taking on their current role as the Senior Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.

Andres Velez attended the Texas McCombs School of Business and obtained a BBA degree in Finance in 2002. Andres also participated in Project REAP, but no specific degree or field of study is given for this program.
