Ian Snyders

Ian Snyders is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Grange Resources, with experience spanning over a decade in the geotechnical and geological fields. Previously, Ian held roles as a Project Geotechnical Engineer and Geologist at Techmad Mining SARL, where responsibilities included slope and pit design, geotechnical modeling, and management of exploration drilling teams. Prior to this, Ian worked as a Geologist at SRK Consulting, focusing on hydrogeological projects involving groundwater remediation, and as a Graduate Geologist at Harmony Gold, engaging in underground mapping and geological interpretation. Ian holds a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and multiple degrees in Geology from Stellenbosch University.
