Grange Resources
Tom Drewett is a seasoned mining engineer with a robust background in various engineering roles across multiple companies in the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Grange Resources since July 2022, Tom previously held roles such as Planning Engineer at Aurelia Metals Ltd and was an Underground Project Engineer at Grange Resources. Additional experience includes positions as a Production Mining Engineer at Dacian Gold Limited, Underground Engineer at Westauz Mining Pty Ltd, and Graduate Mining Engineer at Northern Star Resources Limited. Tom initiated a career in mining at Centennial Coal as a Mining Engineer Undergraduate. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from UNSW, completed in 2017, and is an alumnus of Knox Grammar School.
Grange Resources
Grange Resources Limited owns and operates Australia's largest integrated iron ore mining and pellet production business located in the northwest region of Tasmania. The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine, 100km southwest of the city of Burnie, is a long life mining asset with current reserves estimated to extend the mine life to beyond 2035. At Port Latta, 70kms northwest of Burnie, is Grange Resources' wholly owned pellet plant and port facility producing over two million tonnes of premium quality iron ore pellets annually with plans to increase annual production in the coming years to 2.7 million tonnes. Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contract process.
