William Darlington is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Grange Resources since September 2018, William previously held multiple roles at Rio Tinto from 2010 to 2018, including Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Operational Design and Project Geotechnical Engineer. Prior experience includes positions as Contracts Officer at BHP Billiton and Projects Strategic Sourcing at WMC Resources. William holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geotechnical Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Hons in Civil (Geotechnical) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Finance, all from Monash University.
