Alex Black

Alex has more than 25 years of investment and operational experience focused on supporting management of portfolio companies in organic and external growth strategies, making operational improvements, implementing change management and lean service. Alex was a Partner and Head of Portfolio Management at Alinda Capital Partners including the role of lead Director of Reliance Home Comfort, the pioneer rental HVAC company and now the largest Residential HVAC contractor in Canada.

Prior to joining Alinda, Alex was a Senior Director of Kroll Zolfo Cooper working in interim C-level positions and advisory work specializing in implementing strategic and operational turnarounds. He has held CEO, COO and CFO management positions in service, energy and manufacturing businesses and has also been a Board member of numerous companies.
