Martin Porges

Martin Porges is an experienced professional in project management and controls, currently serving as the Area Project Controls Manager at Granite Construction since November 2012, overseeing significant projects such as the East-West Rail Infrastructure. Prior to this role, Martin held various positions at Granite Construction, including Segment Manager for the I-4 Ultimate Structures and Project Controls Manager for the I-4 Ultimate Project. Earlier career experiences include serving as Production Manager at Standard Concrete Products, and roles ranging from Project Manager to Project Engineer at J.A. Jones Construction Company and Archer Western Contractors. Martin began a military career in the Army National Guard, attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant, and also served as a Manager/Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, along with studies at Central Piedmont Community College and The University of Alabama.
