Public Safety Cosultant at Granite Defense Technologies

Clay Regan is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of the Public Safety Unmanned Systems Academy since February 2024, focusing on UAS/Drone training for public safety and emergency management. Additionally, Clay holds the position of National UAS Instructor with the MITRE SOAR Program and serves as the UAS Coordinator for the Ellis County Texas Sheriff Office. With a background in law enforcement, Clay has held roles such as Police Commander at the Midlothian Police Department and Police Detective at the Bedford Police Department. Clay also has military experience as a Chief Master Sergeant in the US Air Force Reserve. Educationally, Clay holds a Master’s degree in Critical Incident Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, complemented by two Associate degrees in Criminal Justice/Police Science.
