Roger Yoo has extensive experience in the real estate and finance industries. Roger started their career as an Associate at Citigroup Global Markets Realty Corporation, where they closed over 100 commercial real estate loans. Roger then joined Nomura Credit & Capital as an Assistant Vice President, closing over $2.5 billion in commercial mortgage debt transactions. Roger later worked at Capmark as a Vice President, handling legal strategy for workouts and foreclosures and negotiating and structuring real estate transactions. Roger then worked as a Consultant at NRS, providing regulatory and compliance advice to investment advisers. Roger then joined Prudential Real Estate Investors as Vice President, responsible for negotiating and structuring real estate lending transactions. Currently, they are the Managing Director at Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc., where they head the Transaction Management for the CRE Group and handles all legal negotiation and deal structuring for first mortgage bridge loans and subordinate debt investments.

Roger Yoo attended Collegiate School from an unspecified start year until 1993. After graduating from Collegiate School, they went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Subsequently, Roger pursued further education at Fordham University School of Law, where they completed a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree between 1997 and 2000.
