Kiyoki Sekine

Kiyoki Sekine is an Engineering Manager at Granite River Labs in Japan. Kiyoki has over thirteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on project management, testing, and quality improvement.

Sekine began their career as a Senior System Engineer at Key Stream Corporation in November 2002. In this role, they were responsible for system design, implementation, and maintenance for the company's clients. Kiyoki left Key Stream Corporation in December 2005 to join HMS Industrial Networks as a Technical Support Manager.

At HMS Industrial Networks, Sekine was responsible for providing technical support to the company's Japanese customers. Kiyoki also helped develop and implement the company's technical support system. In June 2007, they left HMS Industrial Networks to join XXCAL JAPAN Inc. as a Senior Project Manager.

At XXCAL JAPAN Inc., Sekine was responsible for proposal and project management for 3rd party testing to IT vendors. Kiyoki also managed testing for wireless LAN, Ethernet, and communication equipment. In addition, they were responsible for quality improvement consulting with customers and oversaw the company's network and security administration.

In November 2015, Sekine left XXCAL JAPAN Inc. to join Granite River Labs as an Engineering Manager. In their current role, they are responsible for managing the engineering team and overseeing the development of new products.

They are on a team with Sandy Chang - Engineering Fellow & Technical Director, GRL Taiwan, Creda Man - Engineer Manager, GRL Shanghai, and Shibin Veerendrakumar - Senior Engineering Fellow & Technical Director, GRL India. Kiyoki Sekine reports to Miki Takahashi, EVP, Engineering.
