Damian Santana has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Project Director of SUD Services Program Expansion at Granite United Way since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NH DHHS as a COVID-19 Investigation Supervisor from 2020 to 2021, where they supervised investigations into outbreaks of COVID-19 and collaborated with various organizations to mitigate the negative impacts of the pandemic in New Hampshire. From 2017 to 2020, Damian served as the Director of Rehabilitation at HealthPRO Heritage, focusing on project management and development of rehabilitation programming to reduce hospital readmission rates and empower individuals to live more independently. Before that, they worked at Select Rehabilitation as the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation from 2012 to 2017, where they expanded services and resources for individuals recovering from injuries and those with chronic health conditions, addressing their specific needs to facilitate a safe return to their communities.

Damian Santana's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Hawaii Pacific University as an undergraduate student studying science. Damian completed their undergraduate program in 2004. Later, in 2009, Damian enrolled at North Shore Community College to pursue an associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance. Damian completed this program in 2011.

In 2012, Damian obtained a certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Advanced Practitioner (COTA) from the NH Board of Allied Health Professionals.

Most recently, Damian attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Science.
