Timo-Mikael Sivula

Timo-Mikael Sivula has extensive work experience in the field of energy efficiency in buildings. Timo-Mikael started their career at ABB as a Trainee in 2004 before moving on to NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks as a Seasonal Trainee in TETRA production in 2005. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at DA-Design Oy as a Quality Assurance and PCB-designer.

In 2010, Timo-Mikael joined SENERA Oy where they worked as an Engineer and Energy Expert, specializing in energy renovation projects and sales to housing cooperatives. Timo-Mikael also provided technical support to the sales team and was involved in the design of complex heat pump systems. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an LVI designer and HVAC site supervisor at SENERA Oy, where they led projects related to ground-source heat pumps and heat recovery systems, ranging from small residential buildings to larger multi-story projects.

In 2017, Timo-Mikael joined Granlund as a Project Manager, focusing on the development of energy-efficient solutions for various buildings. Timo-Mikael utilized modeling and simulation techniques to identify energy efficiency issues and develop cost-effective solutions. Later, they transitioned to the role of Group Manager, where they continued to work on energy efficiency in buildings, leading a team and developing optimal solutions for property owners.

Currently, Timo-Mikael holds the position of Project Development Manager at Granlund, working on the development of energy-efficient solutions for buildings and participating in the development of new implementation models for building projects. Timo-Mikael continues to utilize modeling and simulation techniques to optimize energy efficiency in buildings.

Timo-Mikael Sivula earned a Master's Degree in Talotekniikka from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia, from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Timo-Mikael Sivula obtained a certification in Granlund esihenkilövalmennus from Hanken & SSE Executive Education in April 2022.
