Vas Zhovner

Vas Zhovner is a technology leader currently serving as CTO at Granola since September 2023, focusing on hiring and team expansion. Previously, Zhovner was the Co-founder and CTO of XRSYS, where the development of a VR multiplayer tennis game took place from January to September 2023. Prior experience includes being a Founding Engineer for Horizon Workrooms at Meta from October 2017 to January 2023, contributing to the project's inception, prototype development, and public launch. Additionally, Zhovner worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook, enhancing the internationalization quality of Facebook Search, and at Yandex, where responsibilities included real-time GPS data processing for Yandex Maps and developing user-facing features for Yandex Navigator. Zhovner holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Czech Technical University in Prague, completed in June 2013.
