John Sylvia is an accomplished healthcare executive, currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Grant Memorial Hospital since January 2023. Additionally, John has been an Adjunct Professor at Moravian University Graduate and Continuing Studies since October 2020, teaching courses in Strategic Planning and Business Development. With extensive experience at St. Luke's University Health Network from September 2008 to December 2021, John held multiple titles including Network Vice President and President of the Quakertown Campus, as well as Executive Administrator of HomeStar. Previous roles include Vice President of Planning and Business Development at Mercy Health Partners and Director of Planning and Business Development at Baptist Health System of East Tennessee. John began a career in healthcare consulting with positions at Pershing Yoakley & Associates and has foundational experience from administrative roles at Valley Health System and Bon Secours Richmond Health System. John Sylvia holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of Virginia.
