Hannah Lehman

Hannah Lehman's work experience begins in 2002 as the State GOTV Director/Organizer/Canvass Manager for the Iowa Citizen Action Network. Hannah managed a non-partisan voter education and mobilization campaign in five Iowa cities and also planned and directed a statewide advocacy campaign on the Medicare Modernization Act. Hannah trained and managed phone canvass staff during this time.

In 2005, Hannah joined Citizen Action/Illinois as the Administrative Director. Hannah managed all financial operations for the organization, including overseeing required IRS filings, year-end audits, annual budgets, and monthly financial reports. Hannah was also responsible for implementing a new organizational database, website redesign, and improving email marketing efforts. In addition to this role, they also served as a Federal Campaigns Organizer, where they built a statewide retirement security coalition and coordinated large-scale rallies, press conferences, and meetings with members of Congress.

Hannah's most recent work experience is as the Chief Financial Officer for the Grant Park Music Festival, starting in 2010. As a member of the senior management team, they were responsible for strategic and day-to-day financial operations, HR, risk management, IT, and government relations.

Throughout their work experience, Hannah has demonstrated a strong financial and organizational management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate and execute large-scale campaigns and events.

Hannah Lehman has a Professional in Human Resources Certificate from DePaul University, which they obtained in an unknown year. Hannah also has a Non-Profit Management certificate from DePaul University, which they obtained in an unknown year as well. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, which they earned from 1997 to 2001. Prior to their university education, Hannah Lehman attended Kalamazoo Central High School, although specific dates are not provided.

In terms of additional certifications, Hannah Lehman obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2013. Hannah also holds the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM, which they obtained in December 2015.
