Marc Geelhoed

Marc Geelhoed is a seasoned music industry professional with extensive experience in live concert production and digital media initiatives. Currently serving as the Executive Producer of Live from Orchestra Hall at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since September 2016, Marc produces over 30 live concert webcasts annually and oversees all logistical details and technology needs for concert video production. Previous roles include Video Production Specialist at Carnegie Hall and Grant Park Music Festival, and Manager of Audio Media at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where Marc played a key role in marketing, budgeting, and negotiating for media projects. Additionally, Marc began a career in music journalism as a Music Writer and Associate Music Editor at Time Out Chicago. Holding an MA in Musicology from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Music from Butler University, Marc combines educational expertise with practical experience in the music sector.
