Paul Prenter

Paul Prenter began their work experience in 2003 as a Manager in Corporate Finance at KPMG. Paul then moved on to become the Group Financial Controller at Anderson Spratt Group in 2010, where they managed the Finance, HR, and IT functions. In 2012, Paul became the Finance Director and Head of Retail at Podium 4 Sport. Paul then joined Staffline Group PLC in 2015 as the Finance Director for Ireland, where they focused on market penetration and rapid growth. In 2016, Paul joined Keenan CF as the Director and Head of Corporate Finance Advisory, where they played a significant role in growing the M&A advisory function. Most recently, in 2019, Paul became the CFO of Jenkins Shipping Group Ltd, leading the finance and IT functions while also driving growth and overall group strategy. As of 2022, Paul is the Director of Corporate Finance at Grant Thornton (NI) LLP.

Paul Prenter attended QUB from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accountancy & Finance. Following that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting at Ulster University from 2002 to 2003. In addition, they studied International Business Administration and Management at the University of Indianapolis - School of Business from 2000 to 2001.
