Head of Information Technology Operations at Grant Thornton Armenia

Arthur Torosyan has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Arthur is currently the Head of Information Technology Operations at Grant Thornton Armenia since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of IT at Yeremyan Projects from January 2020 to January 2023.

Arthur's earlier roles include being the Head of Information Security group at Gazprom from February 2018 to January 2020. Arthur also held various positions in Armentel JSCo., Vimpelcom Company, such as Head of IT Infrastructure Department from July 2015 to February 2018, Head of BSS support department, IT from September 2013 to July 2015, and Head of E-commerce group, IT from May 2007 to September 2013.

Additionally, Arthur worked as the Head of System Administration Division at Armbusinessbank CJSC from October 2006 to April 2007. Prior to this, they served as a System and Network Administrator at the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center (N&RSC) of the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ANRA) from December 2002 to April 2007. Arthur's career started as a System Administrator at "Armenian Telephone Company" (ArmenTel) from September 1996 to June 2006. Arthur also worked as a System and Network Administrator at the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority from June 1999 to December 2002.

Arthur Torosyan attended the Yerevan State Institute of National Economy from 1991 to 1996, where they studied to become an engineer-economist. Arthur also obtained additional certifications, including one in project management and agile/scrum from itraining.ru in December 2015, another in administering the unified system of project payment in ESPP from Bercut Ltd. in April 2013, and yet another in servicing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases.
