Paul Setefano

Paul Setefano is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of Information Technology Operations at Public Trust since January 2024. As a Co-Founder and Parent Volunteer at Malaga Sā since August 2021, Paul engages in various community activities, including playing Double Bass in a Pasifika community orchestra. Paul holds a long-standing role as a firefighter with the New Zealand Fire Service since 2005, reflecting a commitment to community service. Prior positions include IT Manager at Education Payroll from June 2019 to March 2024, where collaboration and innovation were key focuses, and various managerial roles in ICT services at the Ministry for Pacific Peoples and the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs. Additional experience includes service delivery and development roles at NZ Customs, Telecom New Zealand Ltd, and Datacraft. Paul is also active in supporting young musicians as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Virtuoso Strings Charitable Trust from January 2019 to June 2022. Education was pursued at Porirua College.
