Grant Thornton Austria
Raphael Holzinger is a Partner and Head of Tax at Grant Thornton Austria since April 2023, with extensive experience in tax law and academia. Holzinger also serves as an External Post-Doc Lecturer and Researcher at WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) since March 2016, where previous roles included Post-Doc and Pre-Doc Research Fellow at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law. Holzinger is a Guest Professor in International Tax Law at Mykolas Romeris University and a Lecturer in the LL.M. in International Tax Law program at WU Executive Academy. Prior experience includes advising on Business Tax, International Tax, and Transfer Pricing at Deloitte Österreich from September 2018 to March 2023, and various roles at Holzinger Fischverarbeitungs GmbH and Grant Thornton Unitreu GmbH. Holzinger holds a PhD in Law, multiple Master’s degrees in Tax Law, Business Law, and Supply Chain Management, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Business Law and Business, Economics, and Social Sciences from WU.
