Nikos Ioannou

Nikos is a Partner in the Assurance & Head of Business Development department of Grant Thornton Greece and brings multiple years of professional experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the ACCA professional title.

His experience is strongly focused on statutory and financial auditing, due diligence, and mergers and acquisitions (M & As). He has also participated in the preparation of the Report on Listing on Athens Stock Exchange. He has led numerous teams in multinational listed and unlisted companies.

During his career as a Certified Public Accountant and Business Consultant, Nikos Ioannou has participated in auditing in various business sectors, such as metallurgy, food, fish farming, petroleum, etc. He has participated in the writing of books and articles on IFRS in the financial media. In addition, he was a member of the editing team of Grant Thornton’s IFRS book.
