Cathal Barry

Cathal Barry is a trainee chartered accountant at Grant Thornton Ireland since November 2022, building on prior experience as an outdoor instructor at Castlecomer Discovery Park from March 2017 to November 2022. Cathal also gained valuable skills through short stints in financial advisory services at Grant Thornton Ireland in June 2021 and in risk and internal control at COMGEST from August 2020 to June 2021. Cathal holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from Maynooth University (2019-2022) and previously studied BA International Finance and Economics at the same institution (2018-2019). Education began at Castlecomer Community School, where a Leaving Certificate was obtained (2012-2018).
