Carolyn Mercer

Carolyn Mercer, CPA, CA, has over 18 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton LLP in Canada since September 2005, Carolyn has progressed through the ranks from Senior Accountant to Manager. In addition to current responsibilities, Carolyn held the position of Treasurer at the Halifax & Region Military Family Resource Centre from November 2014 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as a Summer Accounting Student at Fisheries and Oceans Canada in 2002. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting from Memorial University, completed in 2005, and obtained a Chartered Accountant designation from the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy in 2006.
