Uwe Scheele

Uwe Scheele is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Business Leader Tax and Partner at Grant Thornton Sweden since October 2014. In this role, Uwe handles both Swedish and international tax engagements while also acting as the risk manager for the Tax business area in Sweden. Previously, Uwe held the position of Executive Director at EY, leading the Transaction Tax Practice and overseeing a team focused on local and cross-border tax due diligence for various transactions. Uwe's extensive experience includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, Linklaters, and the County Administrative Court of Stockholm. Uwe holds an LLM in Law from Uppsala University and has a background in natural sciences from Solbergaskolan.
